Prop firms with an end-of-day trailing drawdown
An end-of-day (EOD) trailing drawdown recalculates once, after the session closes, from your closing balance. Open profit during the day does not raise the floor — but the floor still applies intraday, so a loss that reaches it mid-session can still end the account. Most EOD floors stop trailing at a set balance; where a firm’s floor never stops, it says so below.

Common questions
What is the difference between end-of-day and intraday trailing drawdown?
Both floors follow your balance up. An end-of-day floor only moves on your closing balance, once per day. An intraday floor follows your highest balance while you are still in a trade — including open profit you have not banked — so a winner that gives its gains back can raise the floor and then breach it.
Can I still fail intraday on an end-of-day drawdown?
Generally yes. End-of-day describes when the floor MOVES, not when it is enforced: if your balance touches the current floor during the session, most firms treat that as a breach. Check your own agreement for how your firm measures it.
